WHAT WOULD WE DO WITHOUT ELECTRICITY?!

August 26, 2005, Fort Lauderdale/Pompano Beach, Florida. Hurricane KATRINA struck Fort Lauderdale and Pompano Beach with winds over 90 miles per hour and drenching rain. Power outages were widespread throughout the area. Fortunately for Apollo, our Fuel Cell/Battery Power Plant was capable of providing all the power needed for the factory.

But over one million homes and businesses were without power and telephones. Now KATRINA, a category 5 hurricane with winds over 160 miles per hour, is heading for Louisiana, Mississippi and Alabama where additional millions will be without electricity and telephones.

Many families are buying engine-generator sets which are noisy and polluting. Several people have already died from carbon monoxide poisoning by placing these engine-generators indoors.

WHAT IS NEEDED is a silent, pollution-free Apollo Power Plant (APP) which can be located indoors.
A 5-kilowatt APP could supply all the electrical power requirements for the average home. Apollo plans to offer this unit to millions of home owners during the 2006 hurricane season for $7,000. However, the net cost to the home owner will be $2,400 due to the tax advantages of the new Energy Bill (30% tax credit of $2,100 + an additional credit of $500 for each kilowatt, or $2,500 -- see attached Energy Bill).

Apollo is now preparing for mass production of its Apollo Fuel Cells, Lead Cobalt Batteries, and Ammonia Crackers. With these devices, it will be possible to produce Apollo Power Plants for stationary applications and Apollo Electric Propulsion Systems for cars, busses and trucks. Apollo is moving from its present Pilot Plant in Pompano Beach to a much larger Production Plant in January/06 where manufacturing will start and shipments of customer orders will begin by mid-year. Apollo has a substantial backlog of orders from commercial companies and government agencies – and four pending patents on its new fuel cells, batteries and ammonia crackers, plus know-how on 37 additional licensed patents and 22 new inventions that have not yet reached the U.S. Patent Office.

Apollo and the Hydrogen Economy are on the Launch Pad!
